This Is as Real as It Gets
This whole thing started because I needed to dump my thoughts somewhere that wasn't just my notes app at 2 AM. Some parts are hilarious. Some parts are deeply uncomfortable. All of it is real.
Dathan Grave isn't some mysterious character I invented. It's a container, basically a socially acceptable way to unload the stuff that keeps you awake and turn it into something people might actually listen to without immediately leaving the room.
The sadness is real. The jokes are how I survive. The music is what happens when I stop pretending I've got my life together.

Production Process
How It's Made
I'm interested in what happens when one person can finally build worlds that used to require entire studios. AI is part of the visual process. The music, direction, concepts, tone, and storytelling come from a real human creator.
Songwriting
Lyrics come from voice memos, late night journals, and conversations with myself. Written in fragments, assembled into songs.
Recording
Tracked in Pro Tools. Often raw, often one-take. The imperfections are part of the honesty.
Seed Frames
Visual concepts start with hand-drawn sketches, old photographs, and reference images that set the tone.
AI-Assisted Visuals
Seed frames feed into AI image and video generation. The machine builds the world I direct what it looks like.
Editing & Direction
Everything gets cut, layered, and graded by hand. AI polishes the finished video.
Final Production
Sound design, color correction, and final assembly. Each video is a short film, not a music video.
